Over the years, our highly skilled engineers have worked closely in collaboration with industry leaders of passenger and customer information systems. It has been found during this time that ease-of-access and safety are key areas to consider.
By working alongside our clients from the initial design stage, we have been able to resolve potential motion control, access and safety issues before they arise.
For example, display systems generally lift out over the head of those working inside the systems. This critical factor being considered during the design stage takes away the stress and financial implications of trying to fit the best possible solution inside an already completed information system.
Utilising locking gas springs which positively lock when fully extended, doubles efforts not only to allow access, but also to protect end-users from injury whilst working inside an enclosure. Locking gas springs eliminate the need for separate safety rods in critical lift-assist applications, as they require the shroud to be pressed before the enclosure will close.
