Gas springs are used in a wide range of applications where a load is required to be lifted and controlled over a defined distance. Depending on the force within a gas spring and the mounting positions on the application, the gas spring can be designed to give lift assitance when opening and closing an application or provide instant lift to open the application fully once the lid has been released.
